Lead Educator, Sandi Donaldson, brings her 40 years of multi-faceted experience to RECP. Sandi began her career as a residential mortgage loan processor, where she learned many aspects of lending from Realtors, appraisers, and underwriters. She moved into loan origination, refining her technical mortgage qualification knowledge as well as her marketing skills. Sandi worked in both retail and wholesale mortgage environments, having served in the loan origination, closing, post-closing/secondary marketing departments. During this period, Sandi became practiced at identifying compatible loan programs, working extensively with borrowers, meeting underwriting and investor guidelines, and training personnel.

She has onboarded and trained staff in the concepts and mechanics of the closing process, including software and compliance. With the founding of RECP, Sandi wrote a 350+ page comprehensive curriculum. The curriculum includes many aspects of the settlement process, such as closing procedures, title examination, lending fundamentals, title policies, and industry specifics. In her role as Lead Educator, Sandi has facilitated in-person and virtual training courses, as well as networking with title insurance underwriters, Realtors, and other industry professionals.
